Our Story

Shepherd Apps was founded as an answer to God's calling—to use technology, creativity, and innovation to help individuals and businesses grow spiritually while bringing the message of Jesus Christ into the digital spaces where people live, learn, work, and play every day. What began as a desire to build useful digital products became something much greater: a mission to create technology with eternal purpose. We believe that the same tools used to entertain, educate, connect, and improve productivity can also be used to encourage faith, share biblical truth, strengthen Christian families and organizations, and introduce people around the world to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That belief became the foundation of Shepherd Apps. Through Christian games, eBooks, educational resources, productivity tools, applications, and other digital experiences, Shepherd Apps seeks to meet people where they are. Some of our products may openly teach Scripture and share the Gospel. Others may simply reflect Christian values through the way they encourage people to live, lead, learn, create, and serve. Most recently, that mission has expanded into audio. Called & Committed is our podcast for Christians navigating God's calling on their lives — sharing biblical truth, practical encouragement, personal stories, and real conversations with people striving to live out their faith through success, failure, uncertainty, and change. It is another expression of the same heart behind everything we build. Our name reflects our purpose. “…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith…” — Ephesians 4:12–13
